About
I am a Lebanese-Belarusian self-taught 3D designer in Berlin with an academic background in psychology. I mainly do product visualizations, interactive web animations, and furniture design at the moment. I view design and psychology as complementary disciplines: one studies humans while the other creates experiences for them, that eventually, influence human behaviour in a constant loop.
A Random Fact I Love
The fact that by running color permutations on each pixel in a given frame (e.g. 4096x4096), it is possible to visualize every imaginable image in existence, past and future, of every object, person, environment, planet, word, thought, etc... It would simply take a relatively infinite amount of time to compute.

Client Projects
Over the past three years, I've worked with over 15 clients to create strikingly unique 3D interactive animations for their apps and websites.Projects not (yet) included in the showreel: Oral-B iO
Personal Projects
My personal work in 3D is catered towards furniture design, with objects that want to become centerpieces. I’ve conceptualized, modelled, and rendered around 30 unique furniture pieces, each a product of experimentation with form and storytelling through 3D software. What happens when we embed human personas into inanimate objects? In an age where the boundaries between reality and imagination are dissolving, we ask ourselves, which parts of our imagination would we like to bring into the real world. In my latest projects, I've chosen furniture as my canvas to explore the potential of physical objects to break down walls of so-called "perception rooms", deconstructing traditional forms of objects and unburdening them from their prescribed functions. The objects we interact with on a regular basis should not only be beautiful to observe, but should also create lasting memories when interacted with, like a good movie or a book often does...
The next two sections tell the case studies of Leona and Zog, two chairs whose stories capture the essence of my message and creative mindset.
Leona
Chair, 2023
About
Leona sits gracefully on the ground in a trusting position. This was not my first character-based object but it was the first one that began embodying alternative ways of intersecting with chair. A bulky spiral body extends the seat and two front limbs that provide balance to the structure.
Research & Inspiration
This chair started as a question of designing a chair where the legs and the seat are one continuous organ. I knew early on, the structure had to include a thick spiral base that curls outwards and extends its limbs. The reference was the intersection between the cat's famous "attack mode" pose and the resting elegance of lions.
Sketches & Iterations
The initial form was conceived in VR using Adobe Medium which allowed for a fluid exploration of form (see Board).
Human Interaction
Using this chair as a seat means to enter the arms of Leona. Due to its shape, Leona's limbs form an enclosing space. This space acts as an entrance and the personal space of the character. You'd have to ask yourself when you're sitting, is this a warm embrace or a domineering presence?

Zog
Chair, 2023
About
Zog is a reference to childhood symbols of simpler times and nostalgic memories. The idea was to embody the spirit of an ogre-like monster in a passive-functional object that people regularly interact with.
Research & Inspiration
The more you grow up, the more emotional power nostalgia has. Along with other factors, temporal distance determines the sentimental value of an object or memory.During a binge of childhood classics like Monsters Inc. and Shrek I experienced nostalgia that takes you back. The intriguing shapes, exaggerated features, and distinctive textures of characters in these films opened up a plethora of design possibilities.
Sketches & Iterations
After understanding the concept precisely, I used free association and VR sculpting software, Adobe Medium, to bring Zog's form to life (see Board). The back legs materialized as long slender arms reminiscent of gorillas. Once satisfied, I moved the object into Blender and gave it that gritty texture.
Human Interaction
When a person approaches Zog, they're presented with a snippet of a story, a character, a memory. Drawing inspiration from iconic characters reminiscent of "Monsters Inc.", "Shrek", and other beloved animations, Zog seeks to evoke a profound sense of nostalgia by being a real-life reference to a simpler time.
